Question about a battery

I am about to purchase a battery for a 2000 toyota Landcruiser. The Toyota website says it should be 27F. 4Runners use 24F and I tempted to use the 24F instead of 27F. Tundra with the same engine as the cruiser 2uzfe uses 24F for the same year range.

Why 27F is recommended for the cruiser with 2uzfe (V8) and 24F is recommended for tundra with the same engine?

Any drawbacks by using 24F in the cruiser?

Thanks
nissanh

I always just put the largest battery that will fit in the tray... at least the battery with the most Coil Crank Amps and Reserve Capacity.

That said... either one will work just fine.

Besides different CCA, CA, RC. And the dimensions looks rather close.

Go with the best battery you can afford...

I went with 24F. It has 750 CCA and the cruiser needs 710 CCA.

What a big difference in the weight!

Thanks for the information!!
