That's a dope system. I built mine just under a year ago, partly for gaming but also for video production/motion graphics work.
Here's my specs:
Processor: Intel i9 9900k
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master ATX
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1080ti
Memory: 64 GB G. Skill Ripjaws V Series DDR4-3200
Storage: Samsung 970 Evo M.2-2280 NVME SSD (one 500GB, one 250GB) + a bunch of physical HDs from my last PC
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750 W 80+ Gold
OS: Windows 10 Home
Case: Corsair 750D ATX Full Tower Case
Cooling: Noctua NH-D15 82.5 CFM CPU Cooler
My buddy has a 1080ti and he loves it. I haven't played much on mine still. I'm interested in RDR2, but the fact that I can't play RDR on PC first is a bit of a turn off. 100% will be getting the Halo Master Chief for PC.

Yeah, it wasn't designed with the ray tracing in mind, but at the time I bought it, there was only one major release that even used ray tracing. And even today, ray tracing comes with a steep performance hit. We'll see if ray tracing becomes the new standard or a passing fad. 1080ti is out of production now, but you can probably get a deal on a used one!

Animal Crossing is still big around here.
By way of explanation: the littlest savage turns 7 tomorrow. So the curious George, all the Mario Party stuff and the Sunshine one are in constant use. Sometimes in the GameCube, sometimes in the 1st gen wii. I am forced to play when inside as it's easy to beat daddy.

The best way to play PC games is with an XBOX controller, 1080TI card and an 65" OLED TV!!!!!!
I'll get RDR2 before Christmas at some point. Right now I'm playing The Evil Within II. Pretty sweet.

Better save up for at least a 2070 Ti super if you want to play in 4K or a $1300 2080Ti for higher fps. I have a 1050 Ti and it can barely run at 4K.
It runs just fine on my XBOX ONE X in 4K at 30fps and looks amazing on my 82" LED.

Yes but with the Xbox one X the settings are much lower. You can lower the settings on the PC and play well into the 40 fps range with a 1080TI card.

BTW when comparing the 1050ti to the 1080ti, well are they even comparable? The 1080ti is 3x to 5x faster card.
I lucked out and bought mine for $750 last year. Most of the rest of my PC is legacy i7.

I wasn't comparing the 1050ti to the 1080ti, just saying neither would be optimum for RDR2 PC. Here is a 4k benchmark I pulled off youtube.

I got bored last night and pulled the cheap 43" 4K TCL monitor I had bought for TV and set it up for my computer. Surprisingly it runs 4K 60fps 4:4:4.

Hey I'll take 37-41 fps ! Thanks for the chart. It's about what I expected.

I always thought I was a pixel density snob. I thought the sweet spot was my 1440p 27" 75hz monitor. Until I got my 32" 1440p 165hz monitor. Easy to run ultra 100+ fps w/ my 2080ti and I now prefer framerate over pixel density. 32" is plenty immersive, I'm not sure why 4K gaming exists though I admit I haven't tried a 4K monitor.
For general PC use 4K would be great though.
