This forum is amazing...My thanks to all of you

I've been having a few problems lately with my wife's Rav4, so naturally I hit up Rav4World....It's like a frickin ghost town.

A couple answers on one question; neat. A week and a half later, and that thread is only about 7 down the forum list, due to a complete lack of activity on the entire forum.
I asked another question and the cricket noise ensued...

I know that the 4Runners have a cult following due to being reliable 4x4 hosses, but geez. If I forget to subscribe to a certain thread, when I check on it the next day, it's 2 or 3 pages down the list, and still with new replies.

So my thanks to all you T4R addicts who spend every waking hour being helpful concerning every little issue I might ever have a problem with.

Can't tell you how often I've tried to find answers on Rav4World... ugh. My girlfriend has owned two of them (1st and 3rd gen) and they've been... fun.. to work on. A simple search here gets me an answer every time. On the rare occasion it doesn't, the community here can answer it quickly... the wealth of knowledge and willingness to help is incredible on this forum. Best vehicle community I've ever been a part of.

My buddy has a Rav4, and I had similar results researching issues for him. Honestly Youtube was the only place I found any decent info for them

Yeah, it seems like people really don't 'dive into' their Rav4s the way we do into our 4Runners. We really like being involved/Knowledgeable in the inner workings, and they just want it to turn on in the mornings.
At the risk of sounding sexist...They seem to have a very 'female' view of their vehicles.

I was able to get what I needed by cross referencing Part Numbers on Google.
I just needed the PN for the Bank 1 Sensor 1, and the Toyota Parts department was closed yesterday (Sunday), and are usually not willing to give out PNs because they know they charge a ridiculous mark up on pricing and that people will just buy the part for half the price from Amazon.

I called a few different dealers this morning and got the 2nd half of the part number at least, and with some fancy Googling found the full number and the Denso part on Amazon.

The dealer wanted $266 and I got the sensor and proper socket for about $125 on Amazon.

It used to be pretty active. I guess the action went down when I moved to here.
