The kind where if you see a stretcher come onto the field, the player is seriously injured, not just looking to get carted off for a cup of tea on the sideline.

Cup of tea? Not sure what you've been watching. I'm guessing you mean hand-egg right? The one where 10 minutes of action is spread across over three hours? That one right?

Ha! Touché. If us Americans are good at something, it's squeezing every single last dollar out of something. Capitalism at its finest.

And a friend (who is a big futbol fan) and I were just having a discussion about the two. The one thing we could agree on is the length of games of futbol being a big plus. Something big to be said about a running clock.

My biggest gripes are how flopping is such a part of the game, pace of play and aggregate scoring (but I do understand why they do it).

Haha only pulling your leg Hepar! Completely agree with the diving aspect of it, you won't find many "soccer" fans who do enjoy it! It's an odd game. Some of the highest scoring games can be the worst, while there are many a thrilling 0-0!

Never seen American Football live so can't comment too much. Watched baseball, basketball and ice hockey all across the States!
