Biggest truck I ever dun seen

Only in the Ozarks....actually in Ozark, MO. The picture really doesn't do the size of this truck justice. It was ginormous. The bottom of the windows were about the level of my roof and your whole arm would fit into the tailpipe. My 4Runner was parked one car away and I felt very small. Basically looks like a semi-truck chassis with a truck body. The rims were something like 28".

Hehe, look at that drop hitch....

I thought for sure this thread was going to be about the International CXT. Those things are beyond words.

The bottoms of the doors were about at my waist (and I'm 6 ft). It had a big-rig diesel engine for power. And the wheels didn't even fit into the wells anymore!

That is almost clownish looking. I fully expect a man with a big red nose to jump out of the cab and start making balloon animals.

I bet that guy pulls a little 8x6 trailer with a riding lawn mower on the trailer.

Here's what I saw driving around my area (Newport Beach) last week. My question is how practical could it be driving this beast around town other than doing some major towing? I'm inclined to think that those who buy these F-650s do so mainly because the HUMVEE is too small for them and too common nowadays.

Those wheels are probably 22.5" rims used for 'heavy' trucks, and the tires could very well be 11R22.5 skins. That is the size that my (company work truck) 2000 International 4900 uses. Notice that these trucks have 10 lugs, whereas most trucks up to five tons 'only' have eight.

Of course, my 32,000-pound GVWR truck is for work and everything is function over beauty. But at least I have real air brakes, two very loud air horns and air-ride suspension. (And you need a CDL for it, too.)
:awais:

Nonetheless, those are some pretty funky trucks! You could pass anything on the road except a filling station. I would hate to pay the fuel bill. (My work truck has dual 50-gallon saddle tanks.)
