Hey, fellas! Here's a new light-hearted thread for us to discuss our cuddly household companions. Anyone can chime in with their stories and photos. We have a Pomeranian named Juney. He loves to play catch with the kids, ride along on our weekend trips, and even bark at our annoying neighbors when they tend to get loud. He's a spoiled little brat. I bought him one of those comfortable dog beds so he would sleep soundly at night. I even gave him a variety of chew toys, so he would have a lot to play with. Feel free to share your pet stories, guys.
i'll play. I have 2 Boston Terrier brothers that are almost 7. I got them as pups at ~10 weeks old. They are polar opposites and balance each other well. AC and DC are their names (after the electricity not the band as i'm an engineer). They are spoiled beyond belief. Multiple beds throughout the house with blankets they love to burrow in, toys, ext.
They are true "american gentleman" with a wide assortment of bow ties for different occasions.

This is my 8-year-old black lab named Shadow. She's about 85lbs. I've had her since she was about a month old, and she's been my hiking / adventure buddy ever since. At one point I raised a baby squirrel and they became good friends - she is a sweetheart! My girlfriend and I lovingly refer to her as our "dog-ter", since we don't have kids. She's part lab, and part Shar-Pei (according to one of those swab DNA tests). I never thought I'd have a big dog, since growing up we had a poodle / terrier mix, but now I think I will always have big dogs. She has her own hiking pack to carry her own food and water on long trips. And she rides in the front seat of the car, like a human. I even had to get a spare seat belt "clicker" in order to disable the constant dinging of the passenger seatbelt chime when she's riding with me.
