Most I’ve looked at will haul away the old one if you want

Also, if you sleep on the new one for a while, then decide you don't like it and send it back, what do you sleep on until you can find another mattress?
Same holds true pretty much whoever you bought from. Gotta either get the new replacement before returning or keep your old junker around until you’re sure you like the new one. Or perhaps camping pads or cots might come in handy.

We got one for our little boy. I think a Casper. It was listed as a medium but seems pretty firm to me. Once you lay on it for a minute it will sink in a little more and more, but never feels soft enough for me. I'm 175lbs.

Also a friend got one for his master bedroom/ main bed he said there is NO bounce, no rebound. I can confirm this from us trying to jump on the little boys bed. Our bed and our girls bed (good quality traditional innerspring) you can bounce like you're on a trampoline almost, his has no immediate give/ bounce/ rebound.

The no bounce/ give/ rebound can come into play for your "ahem" bedroom activities with your partner. This may have been mentioned before, I didn't read the whole thread.

We looked at several different mattress companies, and actually went to some venues and tried out several individual mattresses. We went with Tuft and Needle, which saved a bundle over any other brand.

We've now slept very well for the last year and a half, with no holes developing where you usually sleep. Only complaint is that the mattress does get a little bit warm after several hours in the same position.
