In an earlier post in this thread the admin stated the Like/Thanks system would be back.
There's been a lot of whining on such a petty thing. How about being glad the site is up and running, instead of complaining about every little thing you dislike. If it's that bad, there's plenty of other Toyota sites out there.

Saw that and we're glad for it.

It's inherent in human nature to whine, prevents us from being too happy. This is hardly whining, we're just asking for it back.

I'm happy the site's running, and it's not whining or complaining. It's about some short feedback to the member who takes time to post a pic of his truck for example, if everybody post a "I like your truck", the thread'll be very long, and if the member doesn't receive any feedback, why he'll take time to post more pics. If the site's running it's because the interaction between members, and that 'like' button helps in that.
I also understand the techinical problems that button causes and I can live without it, I just gave a suggestion.

Ha! Well let's be clear, my poll was to ask if we should get rid of the NEW 'thanks" button, a mostly redundant new feature of questionable value. Also, my poll is simply a public question in form of anonymous survey. Anyone could vote however they please. I think it was about 50/50 but I'll have to go back and check.
Now the "like" feature on the other hand has been around at least since 2010 when I started using the site, probably much further back as well.
Like vs Thanks or Like + Thanks? Let's keep the Like and dump the Thanks.
I would have given your post a sarcastic like but you know........
Btw I know it may sound like whining when people point out that parts of the site keep breaking but how else are they supposed to give feedback? This site is a business. Sure the mods are volunteers but the site exists because $$$ and the feedback users provide is beneficial vs just saying nothing and waiting for a better option.
