I also started each day about 3 months ago with a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar everyday within 30 min of waking. Google it. Good things will happen. My grandmother is 101 (looks and gets around like she’s 70) and she’s been doing it for 80 years.

Also, starting every other day with 20 min of fasted cardio has been helpful but increasing your strength training is MOST important after 40 yo.
I eat blueberries all the time. In fact I made blueberry waffles this morning.

Not 7 cups a day though.

what I'm getting at are all these "studies". They plaster a big headline but when you look into the details it's quite a different thing. It's the fear mongering in the press every day that is getting ridiculous.

For 50 I'm in pretty decent shape.

Just eat clean(er) get some cardio in and you will be fine.

Been 14 months since I decided to change my lifestyle. No Alcohol no soda and try to stay away from processed foods.

Lost 40lbs and god knows how much body % fat.

That's great. Eliminating sodas is outstanding. That stuff is consumed in this country on crazy levels and it is horrible for you. The calories you drink hurt the most and add up really fast. Only time we have soda in our home is for parties......other than that our kids never got accustomed to it.

Don't allow my kids to drink soda. When they can buy their own they can try it.

I see too many kids with soda's & energy drinks now days. Don't get me wrong I love drinking Monster but I've cut back and went to the sugar/calorie free one.

Was fairly blown away with the throttle response and just overall power that I got! I’d suggest to anyone to do so, and clean out you plhemal too tha helped a bunch! But shortly after first fire up I heard the squire from the timing cover! Water pump dam! So I was gonna just break it down and get the heads redone maybe even bore out for whatever I could do to possible mount up a charger (pro) was my thoughts! But looking for stuff to do so on eBay a pretty blue straight 6 twin turbo children eater popped up and I just thought what the hell, now that would be rad! Even found a Nissan 2.0 turbo with manual trans for 3k! I’m open to thoughts! Please any info would be greatly appreciated! I already have a dodg with a brand new 650hp over 1000ft bulletproofed 17k dollar 5.9 Cummins so don’t really need to do this but if it is not a big deal to do it I am goin to!!

All I can see while reading this is

At 68, I just did almost 3. I do walk about an hour a day. Some light hexbells routines. Many people think I am 10-15 years younger than I am. fun

Anyone tried the 100 push up challenge? I've been thinking of giving it a go recently. Basically you work your way up over a period of time until you can do 100. Sounds pretty daunting but still doable.

Sadly, my mother proves that study wrong. She exercised like crazy on treadmill twice a day. BMI was excellent all her life. Zero medical issue. Ate great diet. Still has dementia. Progressing to severe as we speak.

Exercise is great for heart and prevent other vascular diseases. But Alzheimer’s? I don’t know. Yeah I know that my mother is case of one….

You don’t have to make a big-of change to your diet to see improvements in your weight, blood pressure, and cholesterol. Small changes can be just as beneficial, but tracking them became easier with https://memtrax.com in the long run. You may want to follow a proper diet, so you know what to eat, or you might prefer having some general tips and tricks to keep in mind. Either way, a healthy-heart diet should include these principles: Stay within a reasonable daily calorie limit. Use proper serving sizes. Eat a variety of food. Get plenty of fiber
