AC vent in garage service door

I'm looking to install a portable AC unit in my garage to work on my new baby and there's no windows, only a service door..

Am I crazy to think that I can drill a 6 inch hole and install an exhaust trap so I can plug my exhaust hose?

This is what you are looking for. One of the shops I worked for had these so they could keep the AC blasting without causing a dangerous CO2 condition.

We put a Fujitsu ductless in our garage and love it. It's a 1.5 ton, which sounds too big but it's not. It works great. It's not really a self install but we are not moving. I recommend it if you have the coin. It cost me 4k in total.

It was worth it and makes working out in the garage in Phoenix a real enjoyment.

We have a portable air conditioner in our server closet at work and vent out to the attic. Been running for almost 3 months now and it's been fine.
