Lot's of comments regarding the non-existent sun in the winter up in the left corner. What I always tell everyone from out of town is that, during the winter, if it's raining in the city, it's snowing in the mountains. Learn to ski, snowshoe, ice climb, and/or snow wheel and you'll love it when it rains during the winter. There's some great places real close to Portland to have some fun in the winter time!

There's no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes

(Up here in the PNW we love that everyone outside thinks it's so horrible and dreary, the more we can keep away, the better for us that know how great it is)

PS, I'm a refugee from SoCal, going on 25+ years. You couldn't pay me enough to go back

Since this isn't 3rd Gen related, moving to OT.
You'll get more input as well.

It's a safe city. But they will steal your shit, lol. Seriously too many "my laptop got stolen out of my car" incidents to not just play it safe.

Oh, and don't bother with the suburbs... Live as "close in" as possible in PDX for the full experience. It's really a great town.

Anyone know anything about southern Oregon coast aka: Banana Coast? I prefer sunny beach to snowy or rainy environments.

Be sure to tell everyone you meet you moved there because housing was cheap!!!

BTW, the real question is which guy are you?
