RTT for naps?

When it gets pretty busy at work I like to take my lunch and take a nap in my car. Which got me to thinking...
Has anyone used their RRT to nap in the middle of the work day, or any place other than a campsite/offroad?

With the addition of the carseat, stroller, other crap, i'm finding there less room in my truck to actually have a good 20 min power nap.

I think it'd only make sense if it was a hardshell RTT as it would be too much of a hassle to fold out a soft RTT.

Considering getting the costco hardshell RTT and testing it out, if I end up not liking it, I know I can bring it back.

Why not?

Anyway, most RTTs are used for instagram photos less than 500 feet from the nearest highway.

You'd be actually using it for sleeping.

we have hammocks everywhere, i'd much rather lay in a hammock in the shade than go setup a RTT and lay down in a hot parking lot

Doing it for the nap instead of the gram. You'll lose followers.

Can you get a good hammock and an awning for less than a RTT? As long as bugs aren't an issue where you are, that would be the way to go IMO.

I work in a office complex with nowhere to really set up a hammock. Parking is in a 5 story garage with decent clearance so i should be okay.

I think i'm just trying to justify buying this costco RTT =p.

Go for it, if it doesn't work out there are plenty here who will take it off your hands.

I work 12 hour shifts and get an hour break for lunch. I'll take about 15 minutes to eat my lunch and then use the rest of the time to take a nap. Gotta say it really works well and keeps me fresh for the rest of the shift. Give it a try!!!

IF I only had 30 min to nap, i rather spend that time getting my nap on. I don't want to waste any time setting up anything or climbing in or out of anything.

So the back seat or front seat works just fine for me.

But if you want to bust out a RTT ,go for it...... Homelessness is the new hotness w/ instafakers (AKA van life).
