My Crappie and Bluegill fish tank

If anyone is interested in fish or fish aquariums, I just finished setting up my bluegill and crappie tank and fed them some goldfish. Check it out:

It will not only have a decorative purpose but also has a good effect on water quality and acts as a natural water purifier .
Can that rock be used in a freshwater aquarium like this?
