So after accepting the fact that I cant go this weekend....

I'm going to be delivering a piece of equipment too Eastern Mt which is the zone I drew my Antelope tag for. Going to be taking the company truck and trailer, and a sleeping bag too sleep in the truck, and hopefully wake up Saturday morning and shoot a Buck Antelope. Going to be calling a few ranches today too see if they will let me on! Hopefully it all works out and I can be home by lunch time!

I fit 2 alps zero gravity layout blinds, eight goose floaters, 4 goose full bodies, 3 dozen duck decoys, and have a fold up aluminum dock cart painted up. All fit inside the back of my 5th gen. no problem. Do have a Prinsu 7/8 rack but have never used it for transporting decoys etc. but I think if you’re moving around more decoys than me it would work well as you can adjust the load bars as needed unlike the SSO racks ( one of the main reasons I went with the Prinsu). When I transport more decoys, I use a enclosed 5’x10’ cargo trailer but to be honest, the 4runner tows like s***. Others on the site will probably roast me for saying this. Hopefully you have many cupped wings this year!

PS Look into a canvas back cargo look liner. They protect the floor and back of your seats when you fold them down and it’s pretty easy to clean up the mud off them.

Thanks for the info...I’m usually running 5 to 6 dozen dekes and have dog kennel in the back when duck hunting. Goose hunts different story with the spreads we have to throw out for those white devils. Good luck this season as well!

Success opening morning!

Slept in the truck, woke up and he was bedded down 75-100 yards away.

Aint the biggest but sure it tasty. Wife's happy I came home early too!

Come hunting in Africa. You will be surprised how reasonable it is. No forerunners but Toyota landcruisers!!

Got all of my antelope processed and in the freezer.

Deer and Elk open up on Oct 26th. Debating on whether I should go after a doe or a buck first. I have a ranch that would let me on but I don't have an exact Acreage amount. Heard that the bucks out there get big from the ag fields, downside is its an open stubble field. Finding the coverage to shoot may be tough. Have more spots outside of town that I've already got confirmation that there are bucks on.

Decisions decisions.

I'm usually an archery hunter, but couldn't get out this year. So heading up for a rifle Elk hunt. The area isn't real productive, but that means it may not be as crowded. It's Kolorado, so crowds are just a normal problem these days. But the fishing is usually pretty good there also.
Helped a friend with his moose the last week. Only took 32 yrs to draw that tag.

Yep, went on a 4-day elk hunt in Idaho last week with my dad and brother and they showed up with 4 30-packs of the stuff.

My brother drinks them like water...

Is it really elk camp without a few 30 packs anyway?

You can have the beer. Just makes me have to stop to piss more often. My buddy and I each carry a flask filled with bourbon. Keeps us feeling warmer while waiting for chukars.

We usually run a dry camp. I found years ago that just a beer of glas of wine the night before, made me cold the next morning. also had less energy the next day. I was really surprised to find out hw much effect it really had. But I really like to enjoy a toddy after a long day of success.
