Anyone With SolidWorks or CAD Experience?

I'm sure there are quite a few people on here with experience, but any willing to help me with a very small project?

Trained in both, only have access to CAD at the moment though. Would be glad to help!

I give anyone who works on CAD for a living credit.

I give anyone that deals in either credit. I've tried learning on my own, and I can hardly draw a straight line! F that! I may suck it up, and pay to take a class just to learn the basics.

This could be a great thread for people looking to learn something, or to find people willing to help. This forum has such a diverse member group.

I have recently gone thru a bunch of Pluralsight training for Fusion 360.

Pluralsight is by far the best online courses I have ever taken. Luckily my work pays for it. They have a free trial so you can see if it's right for you.

Fusion 360 is a pro level CAD program that is CNC and 3D printer ready. You can use it for free if you don't make over $100K per year using it.

I'm just getting started so I'm not at the point to offer help other than the above.

This is the first thing I made after watching a few classes. Before that it was so complicated I had given up on it. It's a large stepper motor for a future CNC build.

Glad I could help ya Mike! SW and CAD are very useful tools in the engineering world. Fusion 360/Inventor is a great starting platform, and I urge anyone who is interested at all to download a program and play around with them!

Here are some examples of everyday items after a little reverse engineering in Solidworks...

I know this post was a long time ago, but if anyone needs some modeling or drawing done, I use Inventor all day every day. I would be willing to help depending on my free time and scope of the project.
