Fox TV holds sports season hostage from Sling tv and DISH customers
During the height of sports season, college, NFL and NASCAR championship, Fox sought to leverage this seasonal position to raise rates (double digit percentage) on local customers by dropping sling and DISH. Millions of customers loose access due to big money owning broadcasting.

Yup. I have Dish and we lost HBO earlier in the year. I can use “rabbit ears” for local Fox station to watch my LA Rams play.

It does suck that the customer is the one that suffers.
