The house we are currently moving into has an attached garage with a 8' high by 18' wide door. I also had a "shed" built that is 46' wide by 64' long that has 2 doors 14'high by 16'wide in one end and a little 10' X 10' door in one side for the lawn mower. We are moving from a small 25 acre farm with a barn and 2 pole buildings down to slightly less then 2 acres but I'm keeping some toys.

Yep... I did that once. Luckily no damage!

It's really cool that you made repairs to your garage. Recently, my brother and I also decided to renovate our dad's garage, which died 4 years ago. This decision was made two months before his birthday, he would have turned 79. The timeline was short, but we tried to make it in time. In the first month, we removed all the debris from the garage, replaced the woodwork that was in poor condition, and ordered a door with https://www.internaldoors.co.uk/internal-doors/victorian that would connect the house and garage. In the second month, we successfully repainted the garage door and exterior and our repairs were ready for his upcoming birthday. It's too bad he didn't get to see the updated version of the garage, but I'm sure he would have loved it.

I wish I had another foot as well. I built my 4R the way I did to make sure it still fit in the garage. Garage > Roof rack.

Height is fine on current, but the 8’ wide single doors drive my wife nuts. We’re just going to build a second garage with larger doors. Need room for boats, trucks, UTVs.

Old brick ranch- 2 garage doors 7' high 8' wide. It feels tight pulling in.

28' deep though which has been very helpful. I wish I had 8' height and 9' wide doors though!

Congrats on the redo!
