Please save the internet (for you-for me-for our children)

I just came across this link today, this is inline with what Al Gore is talking about in his new book.
While I don't personally like to get involve with national campaign and politic all together. This is important for us and for our children as well.

The reason that the internet has become what it is today is because of the free flow of information. But all that could change if we don't do something about it. With all this censorship very soon America could turn into a giant communist in disguise... Please check out the faq on the website as they can explain in better term of what could be happening to the internet if we don't act now.

In short, website like this will never stand a chance to take off. And we all will be living in the dark

Please help me spread the words -

Thanks,

mklttdv

One problem I see with that... Some data should be higher priority (such as voice services).

I'm all against censorship, but throttling services is needed. I'm not saying only to a competitors website is OK, but in general.

You are right... however it's worth noting that the technology and implementation for packet priority called Qos is already in place.

But now they want to discriminate a packet by it origin and perhaps destination as well and that's when it become censorship.
