I like Poutine better than Disco fries. But here's how to make them.

Tonight I'm cooking up some Juicy Lucies with a touch of Jersey by topping them with pork roll

Nice. I never tried one of those, looks great. You seem to be all about that pork roll Mr Ed haha

I just did a Costco run today so I am feeling pretty good... NY Strip and a baked potato for tonight.

Aside from that, I got the ARB in freezer mode packed to the top full of ground beef, steaks, frozen burritos and other assorted frozen goods.

That said, I have yet to go to McDonald's... I'm really trying to avoid eating out.

You're not missing much by skipping McDonalds LOL

How was the line at Costco? I just read starting this Friday they'll allow only two people per membership card to enter at one time time to cut down the crowds.

Not offended at all about the pork roll thing All this talk about burgers had me really craving one, and I haven't had a deli breakfast sandwich in ages...which is either bacon, sausage or pork roll with egg, cheese, black pepper, and ketchup on a kaiser roll...then there's the "belly buster" which is usually all three meats!

I worked in Minneapolis, MN one winter so I had no choice but to try a Juicy Lucy. Also had poutine for the first time there...you'll find cheese curds in almost every Minnesota convenience store LOL

I went mid-day and there was no line to get in... but the venue was still bustling.

There was an entry limit of 2 people her membership and signs posted immediately in entry way of what high volumes items were either in or out of stock.

Some items had limits, some did not. I was surprised I was able to get as much stuff as I was able to get in a single run. We just about shopped for the month.

They were out of chicken wings and bacon... two items I really wanted as it makes for a nice weekend treat. Ended up going hard on the ground beef instead because it's pretty versatile.

I bought the potato buns I need to make sliders today. I'll probably make those this weekend.

I made pulled pork sliders with BBQ sauce and sloppy joe mix, turned out surprisingly good.

These are similar to the sliders I make. White Mana is kind of a North Jersey Icon. I would rate their burgers "McMeh". When I had a pile of them and took these pictures I was like "Why did I eat that?" They were on "Guy Fieri's DDD". 800-1000 burger a day at $1.40 each, I guess the place is a gold mine.

I think my sliders and fries are much better.

I drive past White Manna a lot while working, never had a chance to try it. I did get gas one time at that Delta gas station though

I've eaten at some places Guy visited, including the diner that bought the show's original Camaro convertible (Jefferson Diner in Lake Hopatcong NJ). Too bad he's such a douche. Pretty nasty watching him handle food will all those rings on, and those flip flops must be just as sanitary.

Ed, from the looks of those burgers, you could stop at White Manna and get gas too!!

Or worse

I'd like to try once just to see what all the hype is all about. Like cheesesteaks in Philly, so much hype about Tony Lukes but what's so great about stale bread and flies around the condiment area?

Your passion for pork roll has sorta reminded me about a childhood favorite of mine....fried baloney!!

I think we should really try and stay on the McTopic please.

A personal favorite is the Pounder: 2 double quarter pounders, open up one and insert the other's 2 patties.

Has anybody ever noticed the McRollercoaster of emotions with eating there?

Initial decision to go there features McDoubt followed by final McCommitment.

This then turns into McExcitement while actually going there once the decision of "F*ck it, let's go" is reached.

Order completion is followed by McAnticipation

Handling food is then again met with McDout, F*ck it, and then McExcitement.

First bite is McSatisfaction

Last bite is McRegret and McSelf-Loathing to a lesser extent.

Final emotional phase is McWorry to reach a toilet, almost always immediately following the swallowing of the final bite.
