Better to travel someplace where there are few people. Maybe camping in remote places. Take all the food and drink you’ll need for your whole trip if possible.
Don’t go to the states that are experiencing new highs in covid hospitalizations, like Arizona, Arkansas, California, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. Travel carefully and safely.

I had small bakery in center of the city. I were forced to close it. I have lost my single income. Only in July we get permission to restart working, but with only one requirement. Everyone from staff should to do coronavirus antigen test about which we found out due to this site https://www.confirmbiosciences.com/covid19-sars-antigen-rapid-swab-tests/. Think that it is right, I always care about health of my subordinates and even payed for tests for them. Everyone did his test at home, mo one was needed to do in hospital. In few hours I have got all results in WhatsApp and we were ready to open. Of course we always wear masks and keep the social distance

One of my sons and a friend traveled from NY to Louisiana and back in July. I don't remember all the states they stopped in/went through but all or most of them are so called hot spots. They were careful, wore masks, social distanced, etc. and were fine. My wife and I traveled from NY to NC to visit my other son who recently moved there. Went through NJ, Del, Va, into NC. One stop on the way down at a KOA cabin because we were towing a trailer and it took 14 hours going slow and carefully. The cabin is small and easy to wipe down with Lysol wipes. We didn't go to many places while there but wore masks, etc. when we did go out. We did not stop on the way home except for gas/bathroom breaks. We had no problems either and are fine. I'd say travel as you wish but be cautious.

Traveling can be possible during COVID 19. People are actually got panicked during this pandemic and that's why tourism got dead worldwide.
But still so many people are traveling to their favorite destinations. So If you're planning for it then keep yourself protected and follow all safety norms then all will be fine.

Same here! Just before the lockdown I planned to visit loads of places but it ruined all my plans unfortunately. After the 1st lockdown was over my fellow real estate agent managed to visit Antarctica via https://poseidonexpeditions.com/antarctica/. He stayed there for about 2 weeks and on arriving to LA he confessed that the trip brought him a whole bunch of excellent emotions. Now Antarctica is my dream destination #1

Recent travel observations:
Good hotels (Holiday inn, Hilton/Hampton, etc) are taking covid seriously and post info on their websites about their practices. Such as requiring masks in all public places, distancing, hand sanitizer placed around lobbies and other public spots, no breakfast buffets but they make you a plate to eat in a distanced setting or a takeout box, rooms are extra sanitized and the door is sealed with a break-away tab, every other room is unoccupied, no daily maid service.
Now that covid is spiking again, and more states are mandating masks etc, I noticed in CA, NV, UT that most people are complying at highway rest stops, gas stations, in grocery and retail stores. But there always are a few freedom lovers who refuse to mask up. But if you do your own due diligence you should be OK.

I have traveled to Dubai and Egypt three times. There were no restrictions. The mask must be constantly worn and that's it!

Well I leave for Arizona from Hawaii this Sunday for work and supposed to come back next Sat.
Going there no problem. But coming back will be a pain. Negative test or I gotta quarantine. Going to make the holidays fun.

In our new normal, why not consider expeditions to distant places vs mainstream city tourism, now it's the most appropriate and safe kind of tourism. Time to discover the tropics and other exciting places like in here Tropical Travel Destinations. Vacation and Trips - Ragnar

I categorically reject any notion of a new normal.

Hope to visit Russia via Vodohod for a change one day ;) Looked through their site. I liked the pics from the cruises very much!

Agree with you completely! It is not a good idea to travel to crowded places, not safe.

I’ve been flying all over the place on full flights. I wear an N95 and don’t worry at all. But I’m also vaccinated.
