With all of the lights coming on like that, you should be able to take it somewhere and have the codes read. There will be some sort of code.

I have a 2009 Pontiac Vibe, which is built on the Corolla platform and I had a similar issue last fall. I had the codes read and it told me that the ECM failed code came up. I have since learned that the code can be triggered if the ECM gets low voltage coming in (through either bad battery or alternator).

Like your car, mine reset and the code has come on only once or twice since then.

One thing I will say if this is the issue, don't buy a rebuilt ECM and think that will solve your issue. I tried that and the first one that was sent, had the same lights come on after a month. The company I bought the rebuilt ECM from, indicated a lifetime warranty (to include 1 replacement). I sent the first one back to them and the second one they sent, would not even start the car. I ended up putting my original one back in the car and after 3 months the lights have not come back on.

I guess the $225 I spent on the rebuilt ECM was better than the dealer's quote of over $900 for the part, as I now believe that the issue is with the voltage coming into the ECM and that the issue is intermittent.

The car runs fine at this point, so I am in the waiting game to see what really fails on the car.
