Help with Mount Pleasent South Carolina
All South Carolina folks or those who are in the know - We are heading to an event in Mount Pleasent South Carolina and were wondering what we could do while we are down there that is primarily outside. I noticed on the map that there is a KOA campground that we could use and that beaches/islands are nearby. Like Sullivan’s Island, Isle of Palms, Wild Dunes, Dewees Island etc. Does anyone know if these areas are accessible via an RV? A 25 footer basically. I will not have the 4Runner with me, so I need to know if an RV of that size can access those areas and park. Please, let me know. Also, if there is anything else of interest that I should look into, please speak up (i.e. rent wave runners, rent ATV’s, swimming, fishing, etc).

Probably best to avoid SC right now, especially the Charleston area:

Thanks everyone for the replies. I appreciate the information. So far, the event is on, but who knows in the future. It could get cancelled. I would prefer that it gets cancelled, but we shall see.

No, but wearing a mask, washing hands, socially distancing, and staying home unless it's absolutely necessary are effective things we all can do. So, a cross country leisure trip where you may be interacting with many different people & potentially spreading a disease over multiple states might need to be reassessed or postponed.
Even the president finally acknowledged this.

I've quit hitting my head against that brick wall. These are the correct and prudent things to do and that will get us back to normalcy much quicker - but you can also say "I've got cabin fever, so it is more important for me to get out and about, than it is to worry about other people - especially those old farts that should be dead already anyway"
Medical science is on our side, but that doesn't fit in with the "I'm a 'murican, I can do what I want because it says so in all those documents that I always quote but haven't read"

Burp.
Its not science it’s hysteria.
The imbeciles are not even measuring the right thing.
Up here in NJ the “governor” had some fancy math model probably cooked up by a doctorate student geek at Princeton. It held all businesses closed for an obscene amount of time and when the dim wits finally decided that “The model” said its ok to open some businesses, the shit hit the fan. Fast forward ... the variable they predicted to stay low got bigger fast. The only thing these “scientists” did was put a whole bunch of people out on the street.
I dont see the hospitals filling up again in NJ or NY. Thanks God for that because then they would be killed by the ventilators everybody said would save everyone’s life.
It’s all media driven hysteria. It’s not science.
We will ALL get the Wuhan. The VAST majority of people here will not die from it.

That's because your state willingly threw your seniors into the volcano already as a sacrifice to the Dow Gods.
15,240 dead in NJ.
But wait! The guy that admitted to constantly sharing misinformation 'because it's on Google' will straighten things out.

You're also overlooking the large percentage of people that have permanent lung damage or otherwise, or those that contracted it and are constantly experiencing symptoms in waves, for months.
So much for the 'tough administration', they turned tail and ran the first sign of difficulty, instead deciding to spend their time and money of controlling the media narrative.

What NY and NJ did when they made the nursing homes, by law, take in people who no longer showed symptoms but we not retested, is unforgivable.
Remeber one thing about New Jersey. The allow 5 - FIVE - reasons for the cause of death on the death certificate. Almost always now one will say CVD-19 even if they fell in their garden and broke their neck. It would not be too much of a stretch to believe that EVERYONE WHO HAS DIED IN NJ FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS ARE BEING COUNTED AS CVD-19 DEATH

That's because they get federal money for each covid death....
And it's SO true there has been so much misinformation on this from the start. Probably a test for the more deadly virus to be released later.
I would be staying away from large gatherings for now.
And it's Mount PleasAnt, with an A not E in that position. That should help with your map app.

Ah so I'll assume that since you posted this statement, you have maybe some sort of source to prove this statement is factual and correct?
Could you provide said factual document?
