Help with a part...latching rivet?

I'm trying to build a little something and I'm trying to find out what this part is or what it would be called so I can purchase one.

It's like a little rivet that leaves a nub and a slight cap. I want to attach it to a thin metal strap where another metal strap with a notch can latch onto it. I need it to be really small. Trying to avoid using a tiny bolt and nut. I want the two mating surfaces to be flat.
