The current administration has done a lot to curtail oil production in the US. Reduce domestic production and foreign oil producers are happy to maximize pricing since more oil needs to be imported. This also raises prices of other commodities like milk and eggs.

The fed reserve is also flooding the market with dollars. Too many dollars chasing transactions is driving up prices along with the domestic oil situation.

Should have seen last years covid thread, when anyone tried to speak against all the fear tactics and overreaching government control. Would be interesting to revisit some of the propaganda that was pushed out.

Forget the politics, isn't it unbelievably amazing how much gasoline/diesel/natural gas/gear oil/lube oil, etc. has been harvested from this earth? We think it's never going to end, but one would think it has to someday.
Think too, about how the earth has dealt with all the pollution from fossil fuels so far and we can still breathe. Although if we hadn't wised up 40-50 years ago and put some emission regs in place, I couldn't make that statement.

yeah, nice try. you're in the wrong, you aren't mature enough to own up to it and you just don't know when to quit. typical. lets talk about age and maturity shall we? you want to continue off-topic, see if you can make it a complete trifecta and break the first three rules of the forum?

I’m really confused why you feel the need to keep talking to me. Not sure how I’m in the wrong. Not sure what you are really talking about. I must’ve said something to get under your skin. 5th Gen Butt Hurt 2.0

I would consider myself a conservative, and I have never owned a car from an American company. The Toyota Sienna was built in the US, but the rest have all been foreign built.

My cars have all been German (VW), Japanese (Toyota) or Swedish (Volvo). My last four have been Toyotas.

I have a brother who’s a mechanic, and if I ever ask him about a specific car, he says, “just buy a Toyota.”

Likewise. For whatever reason you keep trying to insult me. Now you’re acting all passive.

You violated forums rules ( T4R.ORG Forum Rules - MUST READ ) you started talking politics and stating political opinion, I called you on it, you spouted off, apparently upset that you couldn’t say whatever wanted on a privately owned forum, you decided you would direct that at me. How hard is that to understand?

Not insulting you, just pointing out the obvious abuse of bad grammar. Just in case you didn’t know I can talk politics all day long. It’s up to admin to shut me down. I really don’t care if I get shut down. It’s a forum, it’s not like they can take your birthday away. This world needs more people to stand up for good not evil. So if me being a conservative offends you, then so be it. What we need less of is what got “voted” into office and the agenda they are pushing down our throats. I didn’t know it against the law to have an opinion. Oh that’s right it is when it’s a different opinion of big media.

We have some of the worst prices where I live. I only run 91 and am happy to pay anything under 4.20. I use the name-brand stuff, though, Shell or Chevron, which is probably unnecessary but I like my truck a lot. I feed the cat well, too. Kids....pretty good.

sadly, you aren't one of a kind. the type that always has to have the last word. my grammar is fine, professor. speaking of grammar "obvious abuse of bad grammar" - your logic is broken. regardless, it isn't up to you to point it out now is it? poor grammar or shy literary skills aren't a violation of forum rules. yes, I have been here long enough to call you out on breaking the rules.

maybe you're too young to know this, forums are oft a place for casual speak. I could care less if you are conservative, I already stated that fact, but u wuz 2 hung upz on me swearin n' me bad grammartizations to cypher that

you're absolutely right, you can do what ever you want anywhere you want. if you can not understand the difference between right and wrong, or as you put it good and evil, that's on you. you did say I sounded like an idiot? huh.

oh and in case you missed it in basic economics the price of fuel is based on supply and demand, unlike corn.

I can talk politics all day long too, I just don't do it here, because you know... 4runners.
