Toyota bZ4X
Long story short, after 6k miles on the wife's 2020 Trailhawk, we are moving on from it. We want an all electric SUV and are heavily leaning toward the bZ4X later this year. Anyone have some thoughts or insight on what else we might want to look into or insight into the bZ4X itself? The styling is pretty attractive, the tech seems to be pretty ideal, and it should have Toyota reliability and fit/finish. Just curious as to what everyone else thinks!

If you want to be a guinea pig, go for it...BUT I personally would wait out the first year to see if indeed all the bugs are worked out already.

Yeah, never purchase a new model the first year it comes out, maybe not even the second.
It'll take the first year for problems to come out and another year to fix them.
Or you could be a nice guy and be the Guinea pig for the rest of us.

Total recall and buyback program for wheels falling off at high speeds.
No thanks, at least not the first model year.

Yep, a MAJOR embarrassment and they should be ashamed. Makes you question all their new releases when stupid stuff like that happens!

Definitely all valid points here. We're on the wait list locally so I guess there's time to decide what to do. Thanks everyone!

Well if you're going to let every little thing bother you ...
