3 to 4 channel dash cam?

The one thing I appreciate on Tesla vehicles is the dash cams using existing cameras on all sides of the vehicle. Watching dash cam videos on YouTube having side coverage seems handy. Anyone recording to the sides with Dashcam? Rexing sells a 3 to 4 channel unit. Not sure on its size being too much for the 4runner. Have a few ideas to accomplish this. Not interested in direct recording of myself.

For me, I only have front facing.

There is only one. Garmin dashcam. Best there is. I got the 47.

Garmin Dash Cam 47, 1080p, 140-degree FOV, Remotely Monitor Your Vehicle and Signature Series Cloth https://a.co/d/5IVIeMN

As for other views, why give more ammunition that may go against you……just saying……

You need the front to protect you from someone in front car slamming brakes for no reason or you’re braking for a deer (as examples). Front collision is mostly your fault…so you want evidence to free you from that if it is not your fault.

Rear collision of your car is rarely your fault. It is up to the guy/gal ramming you to disprove their negligence. No need for cam there.

Interior cam is just useless…and can only be used against u.

Side view…cool…but unlikely that it will ever help you. A wide angle front cam will be just aa important.

Just my view, YMMV.

Have you considered the Garmin Dash Cam 47 for front-facing coverage, and do you share the sentiment that additional cameras may provide unnecessary complications in certain situations?

Ended up buying a Viafo 2 channel for front and rear recording. Wanted a Sony Stravis camera which was not available on Garmin. I mounted the front camera behind the rear view mirror to minimize/eliminate driver distraction. The screen on the Garmin makes it seem necessary to mount it easily accessible to driver.

For Sideview I purchased the Viafo motorcycle dashcam setup. Motorcycle dashcam is problematic. It intermittently works. Working with vendor for a solution. Will probably buy a second Viafo 2 channel system for Sideview.

Also considering lithium phosphate battery for parking mode recording.
