Speed Trap Exchange
Not that ANY of us would EVER speed... but this is a useful site if planning a road trip or visiting a nearby city/state -- It's the next best thing to a radar detector and a CB or scanner on board:

Thanks for the info. This site is very accurate and wherever I suspected a speed trap, it was listed there. There were also a couple that I did not know about! :eek2:

Wow, it is useful for me...sometimes I didn't notice how fast I drive until being caught by an FiveO....got the reckless driving ticket on R. 66 between Exit 53 & 47 in Virginia...It was 10 PM...the road was clear...only me...that is why I didn't know I was driving at 83 miles/hr...at 65 miles limit....
Thanks for the info..

beware of Hardesty OK
bump... I just added my comments to state of Oklahoma-town of Hardesty-county of Texas.
I was stopped about 7 miles after passing through this town. Officer claimed I did 53 the entire way through town. I knew this was bull since my son was driving and I watched him slow for each of the 55 then 45 then 35 speed limit signs. I resumed driving about 5 miles east of town, officer insists I am the one to be ticketed.
However due to their court system in this town I would have to appear in person at least 3 times to have a trial take place-gee what do you know that would cost us more than the $104 ticket for 10 over.
I thought this kind of thing had died out in the 70s. Silly me.

cool topic, I wish I could say I have some more to add to the site, I would either be adding for days or people would be mad that I named every major intersection.... cause people always speed in marin, i figure if you don't you can't get where you are going... or it takes too long.
