2008 Dakar Rally Cancelled
Pity, the best rally in the world canceled. 2 french tourists were murdered in Mauritania. French pressured officials to halt 2008 race, which was cancelled just days before opening.

yea, damn shame...I really think Robby Gordon had a decent shot at winning this year....he was really disappointed.....
