There wasn't any really good BF deals from all the ad scans I've came across. I don't camp out and normally go around 8am or so. I usually don't go for the $300 or 400 stripped laptops since I've seen a couple Dell laptops for $400 this year with much better specs. I only go for the cheap under $6 DVDs. But with the bad economy, I think BF was more important this year than before with so many people crowding the stores (which I thought people were going to spend less). Circuit City had a line to get into the store, this was at 11:30am. Forget it, all the good stuff has been rummaged through and purchased.
I'm going to do more, if not all, my shopping online this year. No crowds and very similar deals. More often than not, free shipping and NO tax. My way of being against the bailouts.

FYI for anyone thinking about those. They are some pretty old models. 64U is the outgoing model replaced by the 65U. Those are not even that.
I think there are still a lot of Sharp sets out in the pipeline (distributors and retailers) and I've seen ridiculous deals on them. I wonder if they did a friends and family this year. Sharp recently released their new line and I haven't seen much mention of them, which I bet it's due to the a lot of old stock out there and they want clear. The Costco ones are probably good sets, but I don't like buying way behind the technology curve. I know I'm paying more to be with the curve at the time, but why get a regular 1080p set, when 120hz sets are readily available for not much more (which I think is the sweet spot). 240hz is out and 1440p is coming soon. Personally, if I was going with the Sharp line, I go with the 85U.
