What do you expect fuel prices to do ?

Ok here we have dropped by approx. 60% atleast. This is a nice thing for us all.

What's your thought over the next 4 years with fuel prices ??

Basic theory in work here, people have learned to save their gas and buy less. So now we are seeing lower prices. That coupled with additive and refinery mods has brought gas to about 1.85 here! As for the future, i have no idea. If the prices fall too much and we use gas like its 1990 again we will be in the same situation we were in for the past year.

It'll probably stay low until the economy starts to recover.

It'll go up if OPEC can manage to reduce supply enough to create a demand, but so far the market isn't responding to manipulation. I'm going to say after spring it'll creep by at least a dollar. Currently, gas is at $2.36 at my local Costco. Typically election year and the couple months before it drops prices to a low from a long time ago, but it rises the following spring.

I sure hope and pray that I'm wrong.

Spring and Summer = gas goes up
Fall and Winter = gas goes down

They always do fluctuate spring/summer.

I guess it's hard to tell , but will we see $4-5 per gallon again ?

Gas prices are so unpredictable, and if OPEC has there way then prices will increase. However OPEC's ability to manipulate oil's price isn't what it use to be. Since the production cut of 1.5 mil barrels in October, oil has fallen even more. I have no remorse for their oil run governments. Now they can feel some of the pain we felt this summer. Regardless, prices will rise when the economy rebounds, and China/Asia gets roaring up again.

I think they'll be back up over $2-2.50 by summer which I'd still be grateful for but if the economy does improve gas prices will go back up but we might avoid $5/gal for a while now but we will see them again eventually.

I liked the 4-5 bucks a gallon...made the commute on the 405 SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much easier!!! Now all the #@?%! traffic is back...

For future reference, the price you pay at the pump is significantly affected by the price of the bbl (in the US). Your pump price is typically 2/3 of the bbl cost. So when the bbl falls to 40 bucks (like it is now) we reap the benefits, however this means (in this case) our economy is in the crapper! If you haven't noticed...

I'll would also pray for that thing to happen. It's just that the fuel prices right now not that stable compared on its previous years.
