I had a 1967 Camero Rally Sport Convertable that died in 1972. She got hit head on but I walked away. It could not be repaired, the insurance company totaled it. I loved that car Replaced it with a 1969 Chevelle SS with the 396 375HP - (3 duces), it didn't even have power steering but it was a beast. God I'm getting old

Drove it for a year and sold it, since the wife kept *****ing because she could not drive it without power steering. I kinda liked the fact that she could not drive it. Should of kept the Chevelle and got rid of the wife since we broke up a few years later.

man, only if u had that baby still... i searched for over a year trying to find a decent priced original ss but all i found was over priced pieces of crap and way outta my price range beautys. so after a year of searching i found a beautiful malibu with only 20,000 miles a newly rebuilt 355. all i ever heard when from fellow car guys is that they wish they would not of sold there first car and so i vowed not to. its been six years now and im still holding on to my baby...

In 1965-1967 my dad and I would get MGA's and Trumiph TR3 out of the local junk yard in KCMO and rebuild them, mostly engine work, some body and paint work. I drove, when I turned 16 a red 1957 MGA, that we had redone, it was a cool looking car. No door handles just comes from the factory with a wire that you pull down inside the doors to open them. No roll up windows just side curtains that have plexi-glass sliding windows. We redid a 1958 TR3, black bug-eye, new paint everything. Ran like a top. Dad put it in the paper and at 4 AM some kid was at our door with the cash to buy it. We had it priced at $850.00, we only had $450.00 in it. My Dad said after we sold it to the guy and got another 20-30 calls that day that we must of had it priced too low. We had some good times working on though old sports cars. Dad past away in 1968, I know he would be amazed at the cars we drive today.
