Mozilla Firefox question

I just put 3.5.3 on my computer. (I have always run IE.) So far so good, less red x's when surfing around T4R.org.

My issue is the webpages open HUGE! The font is huge, the explorer/tool/address bar across the top is huge too. When I zoom out the page looks ok but the top bar is still big and once I go to a new site it's back to huge.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Strange, I have been using version 3.0.14 and after reading your post I updated to 3.5.3. So far everything appears normal to me. I assume you've gone looking through all the options and settings things?

I just found the "use small icons" choice within the Firefox. That fixed it. Thanks.

And we thought it was just your eyes playing tricks on you. Great thing for a pilot to have, eyes they can't trust.

..and check your schedule before boarding j/k

(Said they were making monthly flight crew scheduling thats why they overshoot MSP by 150 miles)

Maybe they are using old version of Firefox and IE, ha! ha!

That truly was the only cover story that they could work up that would keep the FAA off their butts, but those boys hate to say were mixin it up. Tell me this since you know, under what circumstances does a pilot IGNORE at least 40 calls from various contacts? I think those boys were frisky.

So Gay You think?

We don't have the whole story... 40 calls: If the radio is off or you're out of range of the transmitting station 100 calls wouldn't get the job done. The radios are easy to mess up. The audio panel that selects the radio, controls the volume and directs the sound to the headsets, speakers or nowhere can be easy to mess up if you are distracted.

Doesn't really matter now that their licenses have been revoked.

You guys must have a strong union. How serious is this in your mind as a pilot?

I don't have a union but as airline pilots they do. The problem is the FAA stepped in and pulled the certs based on the breaking of a company rule. The union lawyers will win. There's a very subjective FAA rule that says "careless & reckless". The FAA threw that one at them too but I know many FAA pilots that do worse everyday. I watched the FAA's best & brightest almost ball up a plane at Oshkosh a couple of years ago (secratary of transportation was on board). Truth is they're like many gov't agencies these days; drunk on our money, low on morales and greedy.

It's really no big deal... It's no different than if, while driving through the country, you look ahead to the clear road and decide you'll risk reaching for something on floor. When you look up you've crossed the centerline. No harm, no foul. Had something gone wrong then it would have been a big deal. If they flew into a t-storm because they were sword fighting instead of flying then it would be big deal. It's a lot like being offshore in a boat, you don't have to be 'engaged' 100% 100% of the time.
