Classic Nintendo NES console nabs $13G on eBay for rare 'Stadium Events' video game

I think I have pong and the original Atari (2600?) up in the attic. Joystick and a button was good, now it's all crazy. I keep my kids away from video games as much as I can, that's why we camp all the time.

The $13g Nintendo went for that much based soley on the game it was packaged with which is crazy.
I have no reason to let it go but I have turned down offers over $100 for it as it's complete with all the paperwork that came with it in '88 then a few years later it went into storage and wasn't taken out til just last year. It works like it did when new but Duckhunt doesn't look so good on a 46" LCD.

Blowing on them removes the dust that buildsup on the contacts but recently I went through and cleaned the game's contacts with alcohol and they all work fine.
The black Wii just came out and with the lowered price of $199 they also throw in Wii Sports Resort and a motion plus sensor with the controller so I just had to another controller with the motion plus which my GF had to have a pink one.
We also got a charging stand that allows you to just set the controllers on to recharge for $25 which was perfect since you don't have to remove the controller covers to recharge them.

I have the white wii with the same style charging station. i hated removing the covers on the remotes. now the only time i have to remove them is to sync the remotes when the neighbors come over or if i take them places.
monoprice.com is a great site to get wii stuff. they have covers and recharge packs for so cheap. i bought silicone covers for my controllers, balance board and rechargeable batteries for my balance board. i wanted an orange one but their orange is kind of ugly looking. so blue and black it is.
its a great site for any of your wire needs. i buy all of my HDMI cables on it.

Wow, this thread is bringing back great memories of years ago. Playing Duck Hunt with the guns, Super Mario Brothers, BomberMan..... I can kick myself for selling my NES after buying an N64.
