Top 10 business stories of the year. I saw this in my local paper, but this link of another paper, is the same story.

Toyota recall ranked #5 for stories of the year.

Also, China surpassing Japan as the world's second biggest economy was #3. I did not know this happened this year. They project China surpassing the US by 2020.

I agree with most of the stories as being important, but the last two are a little bit of fluff.

Absolutely agree, it's important to promote the business all the time. Nowadays there are plenty of options but I'd like to remind you about email marketing, it's still a great tool. Interesting look back. Still a ways to go for China to surpass the US in nominal GDP, but they have in the PPP adjusted. Their economy continues to grow faster, though.
