This thread cracks me up (literally and figuratively) because drifffter33 just joined an MTB forum that I regular (socaltrailriders.org), and so I said hello to him. He asked if any of us were T4R folks, so then I came over here and joined on. This was only a couple of days ago! Now you gone all mountain bike on me!! Nice. Ride an '06 single-pivot Cannondale RUSH 1000 FS sled w/Lefty up front:
Don't be makin' fun o'f the C'dale now... I cut you!
Actually looking to upgrade pretty soon, but I need a truck first (yeah, don't have a T4R yet, but am in the market hot and heavy at this point...).

Diablo is like the only spot my friends want to go to, that gets freakin expensive to go considering helmet rental, $40 a lift ticket per day and gas to get there, and thats not counting how bad for the bike it is.
Ive never done bethpage but i have done Glacier Ridge with LINY4Runner out off exit 63. Here is me at Cunnigham, im not the best jumper yet, hopefully new pedals and better technique will help.

Now that's what I'm talking about! Fork mount that bad boy. LOL
No offense, guys, but frame mount racks are for soccer moms. LMAO
Seriously, though. I love the fork mounts mounted inside your rig. Now you don't have to worry about locking it to a roof or hitch rack. Very cool.

I just dont trust the fork mounts, they don't look too stable to me. Plus I know someone who ripped his bike off on an overpass. User error obviously but I like knowing I don't have to worry about it being up too high. However, I have never used one so I might be converted

I take offense. If I wanted my bike in the 4Runner I would put it there. I don't so I don't. BTW go ahead and make fun of soccer moms. I am a soccer dad and right now a soccer scholarship is helping me to pay for my daughter's BSN degree. My son has also been contacted by several colleges and it looks like he will get help from soccer to pay for his undergrad degree too. So keep up the funny comments LMAO.

Wow, not much of a sense of humor up there in the Appalachians. Must be all that cold weather. LOL
Real men have roof racks. LOL
I kid, I kid. Put your bike where you want it. It's all good. We all like bikes, and T4R's.

I've been a couple times with my friend's bike. Man those bikes are really really light compared to the wal-mart ones . There is a trail that I live less than a mile away and its pretty popular around metro atlanta. Blankets creek bike trail if anyone has ever heard of
