This was not so much creepy as it was scary, and it turned out totally fine.

I was the Warehouse Assistant at an AC company as one of my first jobs, and part of my duties was to basically be the *****; run errands, make deliveries, etc. My worktruck was a barebones F150. Manual windows, manual locks, etc.

One of the Service Tech's van was having problems, so he drove it to the shop, and I was supposed to meet him there to pick him up. The shop wasn't in the best part of town, so of course I forgot to check to make sure that the manual door locks were locked.

I was sitting in traffic, 1 stoplight away from the shop, when someone opens the passenger door and just gets inside. Big bald guy wearing sunglasses, and my instant thought is "Ah shit, a skinhead!"
.....turns out it was our tech. He had shaved his head a few days before (I hadn't seen him since) and he had seen me sitting at the light and didn't want to wait for me.

This just happened last year...
My wife and I were having a light horror movie binge, and we finished on 'I know what you did last summer', and right as the credits started rolling, around 10pm, the power for the whole house went out.

Turns out it was a blown transformer a few blocks away, but still.

Something I saw at a stoplight years ago. Two young guys were cursing at each other from across a 4 lane street in the middle of a busy city. It was around 10 pm, I was stopped at the light behind a F-150 when they both squared up right in front of me, one guy was like a foot taller and built like an athlete. After a few words he pops the little dude in the jaw knocking him out cold before storming off back across the street. Now the weird part: a 300+ lbs. GIANT gets out of the F-150, opens up the rear door, picks up the little dude by his shirt collar and belt like he's a toy, loads him in the truck and speeds off.

On a foot patrol in Afghanistan. Walking past a "clot" (standard home with 8 foot walls around the perimeter) the steal door was half open. In side you could hear a dog barking(Afghan dogs are big enough to chew on sheep heads). I was the last man in formation and the last to look in side the compound with nothing to see. As i made my way past the open gate i heard a big growl followed by a loud bark. Reflexively i turnened, weapon switched from safe to semi, shouldering my M4 and taking aim at what was all of a 110lbs puppy, finger moving to the trigger... small child, a girl no older then 4 or 5 stood smiling just off to the side of a huge beast doing his best to protect her. Slowly i backed away placing the weapon back on safe, trying to control the rush of adrenaline. Of every thing i have seen, the thought of a smiling little girl and her dog in the red dot of my CCO and my finger on the trigger still haunts me for some reason.

After I read your first paragraph I was feeling sorry you. Not because your brain will get "blown off".

After the second paragraph, I said " Lucky you". Not because your brain didn't get "blown off".

When I was about three years old my brother and I were sharing a bedroom in our house in Box Elder, South Dakota. The room was on the upper floor of a split level, so the window was about 10 feet off the ground. Our window faced the front with a street light not too far down the street - enough to illuminate the room with the curtains open.

I woke in the middle of the night to my brother, who is three years older than me, shaking me frantically. He motioned to the window as if to say "do you see that"?

I looked over to the window which lay beyond the foot of our bed and there peering at us was an inhuman creature. It had no hair, large bulbous eyes twice the size of a human's, oversized ears, and a large round nose that filled up its face. I did not see anything below its nose as it appeared to be holding itself up on our window ledge by its curled fingers. I couldn't be sure in the yellow light, but its skin appeared to be grey.

It blinked slowly and turned from our window to move away quickly. My brother and I ran over to the window and saw it had already moved half way down the block. That was when we noticed it had not been holding itself up on our window ledge at all. The creature was just tall enough to peer into the near second storey window by standing. As it ran, it's overly long, willowy arms and legs moved in a strange motion, what I would imagine a tree would look like if it had arms and legs to run with.

It ran down the street, lit by yellow street lights and then was gone.

To this day, we both agree on what we saw down to the details of the way the creature looked and moved. That is a memory seared into our brains, and that is the creepiest thing I have ever seen.
