4Runner rock sliders 3rd gen
So after some testing, head scratching we have the design down. Made a couple of actual modes to get the shape and angles correct. Tossed the idea in Solidworks so we could see how it would basically look.
Price will be 400.00
Powder 75.00
Shipping available
Install 65.00 as long as running boards removed

By using the UHMW we are able to create a surface that truly slides over obstacles. It also allows us to use much lighter materiel when making the actual slider body.

Aw man those look great. I am a little disappointed that the burrito warmer didn't make it to production, but still looks promising non the less. The plastic that looks pinkish, will that actually be pinkish? or is that just in the virtual world?
I'm surprised no one else has commented on these considering everyone was waiting for them.

Saw the new Sliders. I think these are better imo.
Have these Sliders still not be produced?

I like that they are different from what everyone else is making right now, and they are totally functional. Do the support braces have drain holes in them? It seems that they would hold mud/water and have a potential to rust.

Very anxious to see these field tested. I almost pulled the trigger on someone else's sliders before I came across this thread. Any ETA or price yet. How often to you think the plastic will need to be replaced?
