Now that the hunting seasons have begun to come in I'm staying pretty busy on the weekends. I'm expecting to be tied up for the next several weekends at least. If you guys can get something planned, I will try to attend but can't commit to anything at this point.
Nissanh, let us know when you'll be headed this way and we'll try to figure something out.
Paisano, welcome to the forum and to the group here, hopefully we will all get a chance to meet soon!

I'm down to hang out.. Not many trails around LR though. Better if we just had a meet & greet with dinner.

Plans already.
Maybe we could poll to see if there is a set time we could meet regularly. Something like the 2nd Friday, every other month, or something simular.

Hi, ARK Swamp rider.....
I will be available on weekends.
How about a weekend in early October? I still can make it earlier than that.
If we can do a trail or something similar followed by a dinner may be good for a start. Just a thought.
My truck is stock with 2 inch lift 4x4 V6 AT. Keep that in mind if you are thinking serious offroading!

Weekend is best for me too. I think the first 2 weekends of October would work on my end.
Nissan - my 4Runner is mostly stock too, we can still take on some pretty challenging terrain.

Do you guys want just do a meet and greet type meeting or some wheeling? The southern cruiser crawl is coming up the second weekend in October, perhaps we could make it to that as a group. Deer season opens this Saturday, I'll be in the woods. However, the first or second weekend in October should work, just let me know what you guys would like to do.
I'll admit that my 4runner is far more capable than what I use it for. Any wheeling will be pretty mild. Last trip to superlift I ran the 1s and 2s, I'd probably stick to that level. I don't have the off road experience to be comfortable with more than that at the moment.
I figure the first meeting we have where several can attend we can discuss the possibility of regular meetings on a set schedule.
Also, if anyone wants to wheel this weekend, you may be interested in this. I have no idea what he has in mind, just ran across the thread.

I wont be doing any wheeling until the SCC in October. Not that I can't, I just have things I need to do first.

What's the SCC like? Are the trails too crowded or is everybody there mainly to see all the other rigs? I've never been to Superlift at all but am definitely down to go the first Saturday in October (the 6th). In fact, I'll probably go that day anyway, have been wanting to get outside.

It's usually a pretty big crowd with a wide variety of vehicles. It has many many acres of trails. I'm sure there will be some guys out there willing to lead the 1's and 2's trails. Majority of the people will probably run 3's and above.

Would anyone else be interested in this? I could probably make it out that day, and it would probably be better than at SCC so it won't be so crowded.

Hi guys,
I am still ready, all you have to do is let me know in advance. Any weekend is so far good for me.
Planning a trip to Staten Island NY during the Thanksgiving in my 4runner. My 4Runner is from CA/NV.

And I'm still planning to go Oct. 6th. Installing Spidertrax before that, went to do it yesterday and the lugs are all so tight I couldn't get it with a 4 way wrench. Guess I'll have to buy something.

Buy one of these!! I promise you'll never regret it!
If you're close to west LR you can swing by my place and I'll help you out with your install. Won't take us 30 min. Bring some medium loctite

Seriously? That would be great man. How about Wednesday or Thursday next week?
Don't think I can afford the Milwaukee impact wrench, but no amount of elbow grease from me can loosen these lugs, I don't know how high they're torqued - just moved here you know and had the dealer do routine maintenance this first time around on both Runners.
