Greater Portland Area - Suspension Installer?
I am looking for a great and reputable shop to install a full front and rear lift kit with UCA's on my 2015 4Runner Trail Premium with KDSS. Any recommendations?
Thanks!
Keith

Keith,
Not too sure about competent shops around here, but if you would be willing to, I could help you install it. As far as 5th Gens, I have lifted mine and two other members on this forum. I have also lifted two FJ's and a 2011 Tacoma, all of which share the 120 platform for the front.
There are some benefits to performing the lift on your own, but I understand if you would rather have a warranty for future issues. It teaches you a lot about your own vehicle and gives you satisfaction knowing you did it on your own.
What lift are you going with?
If you are set on getting a shop to do it, I would try calling Land Cruiser NW to see if they have any experience with 5th Gens.
Take care, Jason

Thank you Jason!
I am stuck between doing an OME kit with Bilstein 5100 with Eibach front springs and Toytec Superflex rears. I have another thread in the 5th gen section asking for opinions based upon my usage, which is overland exploring. I am leaning towards the Bilstein through Wheelers and using their strut assembly service to make the installation easier.
I might take you up on your offer! If you don't mind, perhaps reply to my other thread with your thoughts.
Cheers,
Keith

I'll reply over there in a bit. I have installed two sets of Bilstein 5100's on two 5th Gens. Save your money and we can do your install. All you have to do is rent spring compressors from Autozone for free. It is simple.

I have decided to do the installation myself. I am trying to work with Metal Tech on the next phase of the build but to be honest with you I am not impressed with their customer service at this point. Hopefully things improve as I will be finishing this next portion with them. I like to support local business when I can...
On another note, I have already worked with 99 West Off Road for the third phase of things and I must say that John runs a great shop and I am looking forward to building a relationship with them.
Cheers,
Keith

That's funny. I met a MetalTech guy at Brown's Camp a few years ago. Nice guy. When I recently called to ask about some stuff for my 3rd gen 4runner, the woman on the phone was kinda rude and not really helpful.

Portland area help with Billie install
Yoooo,
How’s it going guys I’m new to the forum as of today and I’m looking for some help with the install of some billies and new coils for my 2005 sport. I lack the tools and the knowledge to get the install done but I want to learn So I can perform these repairs/maintenance in the future. I just moved out here and I picked up my 4Runner a few weeks back. The xraes shocks have started to leak(may have been leaking already) so I’m looking to replace. I’d be happy to buy someone the beer of their choice and throw some cash your way for some guidance and help with the install. I’m looking to order through wheelers off-road and was hoping to save some cash instead of getting robbed my the local mechanics up here. $130 hour labor was the cheapest I’ve found up here in Long Beach Wa. If anyone would be willing or knows someone who would be willing I would appreciate any and all advice.
Looking to install Billie 5100s all around with one 2885s up front and Eibach pro lift springs or wheeler t12’s in the rear. Would have Wheelers assemble the struts. Thank you!
