Toyota TechStream for 4th gen - need assistance

I was an idiot and turned the ignition on to test an amp I installed under my drivers seat, and now my airbag light is on.

Local shop wants $120 + tax to reset the light.

Anyone in the Seattle area available to help? Will throw some $$ your way.

Thanks!

You should be able to just disconnect the battery, plug whatever SRS harness connector you unplugged back in, and reconnect the battery. The light should turn off. If it stays on, you might have bigger problems.

Dealers

See if you can buy a code scanner for less then $120 and do it yourself and have a scanner for future use and vehicles. I have gotten very good use out of mine and helped a few others.

Or, see if a local parts store will rent one.

I'm in Salem, too far away to help with mine.

Any luck? Just picked up an '05 and would like to do 1-click unlock, seatbelt chime, and if our rigs have it, soft touch 3 blink signal. In the Seattle area. Thanks!
