Brown's Camp, Tillamook Forest, Oregon

Cascade Cruisers has a Poker run Sept. 25 which looks like a good fun event and a simpler event Friday the 24th. I'm interested but my TE is stock with AT tires and no sliders.

A lot of Brown's camp looks too rough with tight turns.
They are also running guided trail rides on easy and medium trails Friday.

Any input on the easier trails would be appreciated to help me decide if I can go without damage or pinstripes. I'm not ready to make my T4 look like a real off roader.

I wish I could help you, but I have only ridden as a passenger at Brown's Camp, and I was disoriented very quickly. I can say that most everything we went on was too gnarly for most stock rigs. We were intentionally hooking trees with the rear tires (Jeep CJ) to spin us around some of those ridiculous turns.

Hopefully the fire danger has dropped to moderate by the time your trip rolls around and the state has reopened the trails.

Been there two times to look around. Saw a lot of rock gardens, could not make sense of the trail guides to see if there are more reasonable trails. Watched a few YouTube videos and it all looks like @ace4aday described.

Not sure about the input from the host group, they may be on 35s with sliders and don't mind custom body work.

Look up the system trail map. It has a labeled difficulty markers and such. I was told that most green/blue trails marked on the map are simliar to most of the trails up in the Gifford Pinchot trail area. I ran most everything in Gifford on 33s with no pinstripes or armor.

Here's a map of 4x4 and motorcycle/quad/sxs trails on browns camp with noted difficulty raiting and trail names. Non-Georeferenced Map

Or here is a georeferenced map of brown camp. Georeferenced Map
