Wondering what people think here. Especially as it relates to age. As a younger individual I am inclined to lab made stones because of the reduced environmental impact and lack lack of ethical concerns (blood diamonds). Furthermore, after reading about certain stones (Moissanite) it seems that these are superior to Diamonds in almost every way. Sparkles More, Whiter, Less Imperfections, and More resistant to chipping/abrasions. Check out DiamondsSuck.com for more information...
So the question:
Only Diamonds?
How old are you? 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's etc...
I got married in my late 20's and my wife was very, very clear that if I ever wasted my money on a real diamond ring I would end up with extra holes in me that the good Lord didn't give me at birth.

My wife wanted rings. I wanted a tattoo because I hate jewelry. After a few years of rings she came around and we got tattoos on our ring fingers. Much better.
