I don't know about you guys, but Sony's really kicking ass in the mid-high range for slr/dslr's.

Canon 77D. I have a friend with a 60D and a friend with a 70D, it's considerably lighter than both. Pretty amazing.

I am a Pentax guy. I just bought the new KP a few months ago and it's a machine. My fav. lens is the Pentax 70-200 2.8.

I would call Canon and Nikon the Honda and Toyota of the car world. Pentax would be the Subaru. Not as many of them, but pretty darned good stuff.

I just read through the manual, and it says that 4Runners are better photographed with a Canon camera.

I agree. I still can't get over the EFV though. I have a lot of friends who are professional photographers and they love sony. The glass is getting really good, especially if you get the Zeiss lenses. Those things are light too. My 5DmkIV with L series lenses weighs more than a pregnant hippo....but....I still love the form factor and the images it takes. Sharp as a friggin' tack.

Canon Rebel T2i at the moment -- basic, but throw some decent glass on there and it does quite well.

Will likely upgrade to a Sony at some point in the next year or two -- likely the a6500, maaaaybe an a7II / a7III
