No choice for enjoying more than one;nice poll. :sniper:

I like both this place and yotatech since you can never have enough information and help and people that want to run trails.

This site does caters to more specifically 4Runners and a more broad range of owners than yotatech which cater to all Toyota trucks but has very indepth discussions and advice and write-ups on the older trucks since that's what makes up the majority of their members and a significant percentage are off roader types and less of a street scene over there but that doesn't make this site better or worse or vice versa.

I think this site has made pretty big leaps and bounds over the last couple of years and active membership is bigger than ever which benefits us all.

Toyota120 all the way!!

It's geared towards people that actually 4wheel and provides tech catered for that interest. T4r.org I think is more catered to "bling" IMO

I honestly like t4r.org, I am also in yotatech but seldom post I do visit the site and read interesting stuff. As far as toyota120 it looks like a great site but unfortunately they only cater to 4th gen and newer models. I have met a couple of the members out at pismo last year and they were great guys, and also met the owners from overland warehouse very nice guys. I hope I am right on their company name? I have looked at their site and it does not show a 3rd gen category.

I like the appearance and sub categories on this site the best. Plus this site seems to have a good balance of knowledgeable members that offer quality contributions. The only negative thing I would have to mention is that some of the mods seem to exist on this forum just to police and rarely contribute. The mods that do contribute are outstanding though, so overall :hatsoff:

Please elaborate.

I think he means this site contributes to the bling factor more so than the others and that isn't a bad thing and that's what I meant by this site encompassing a broad range of types of owners and their different intentions for their trucks.

I got banned from Yotatech a long time ago because of my sig. :wtf:

"There is no place like 127.0.0.1"

tr4.org and toyota120 are like having two girlfriends (a blond and a redhead) at a same time. You need both of them.

I like T4R the best overal, and find that overall there is probably more information here than the others.

I participate less on Yotatech mainly because there isn't much gong on with 4th gens there, but there is great offroad info.

I have never conbributed to 120, but like the way the sub forums are organized and how easy it is to find tech writeups. It feels less cluttered than T4R. Lots of the same people on both forums too. For people heavily into offroad mods, 120 is the place. Lots of good offroad info there too.

I really like the people and atmoshphere on T4R, but agree that members here are more into "bling", or at least street performance than trail performance. I get the feeling most of the "offroad" type mods done by members here are for the look not the function.

Tr4.orgy is not too bad, it's kinda like shopping at wal-mart for car stuff, there is lots of cheap accessories and filler and stuff you don't really need- sometimes you can find something useful.

Toy120 is more like shopping at 4wheel parts or offroadwarehouse, there is a specific direction and you can always find what your looking for

I've never looked around for a 4Runner forum until now, but I have been on a Tundra one for years, tundrasolutions.com. It's bad a$$, there are always tons of new posts to read. I like this forum so far but there's not a lot of action on it. I'll have to check out the others before I vote.

Tundrasolution is very nice...they have a section for every TOYOTA model out there....here is for 4runners only and I think here is a section for FJ's and a All other models section too but not one section for each model like Tundrasolutions. So I think we can't compare this site with Tundrasolutions.

I have an account at Yotatech and God that site is sooo confusing . I get dizzy just trying to search for some info. And get lazy just thinking about signing in to that site.
