I hear about all the crap it's laced with and wonder why as the good old pure weed from back in the day just made you laugh and eat uncontrollably.
Yup, one fatty is all I'll need.....just one!

Exactly what is it laced with? I can see if you're buying it from a random street dealer but medical pot is the best there's ever been and alot of it is grown organic and you can buy specifically the type of pot for your needs.
I think it's going to be close in the vote this fall here in Colorado since there is really no public outcry about the dispensaries here and you even see the sign spinner guys right in front of the dispensaries and this has been going on for several years. '
I just think adults need an alternative to alcohol which has shown to cause a lot more physical and social problems. Also most of the people that smoke it now will always be able to obtain their drug but legalizing it would let release them from the fear of prosecution. Also if it's legal and buy it from a proper dispensary you don't have to worry about being ripped off or having other illicit drugs being offered.
Colorado has a very different atitude toward marijuana than most of the rest of the countrey and visitors to our state can't believe the casualness of the whole thing here.
Cops have better things to do than bother responsible adutls doing their thing.
Our pot laws work very well here.

Can't speak for all of America (especially the reality show/social media lovers), but for me personally, YES. Maybe because of the aforementioned crowd. Much better than Prozac, and yes, I use that too. And Abilify. What does it matter if you can be a productive member of society, and you're not hurting anyone else? I have a college degree, make six figures, own a home with acreage, work full time and volunteer on the side. I think it's only a matter of time (maybe 20+ years) before it's legalized for recreational use nationwide. Great thread BTW!!

OOOHHH...cheeba...treez...weed...the sticky icky...
yeah...i endulge, but not too often. im still working on being respectable.
both my parents did, and cigs, for their entire lives, so i learnt both what to-do, and NOT to-do...from them.
and i figured, living past 70 would be greatly improved if i didnt inhale a burning stick of leaves and plants...ya know.
im just sayin...

I haven't smoked in years. If they ever legalize it I would definitely consider it as an alternative to the pain meds I have to occasionally use for my bad back.
