About 10 years now. Up here it's easier to point out those who don't smoke. Arguably more common than drinking, which I don't see as that much of a bad thing personally. I've done quite a few drugs but now all I do is smoke every so often and even debating dropping that these days, time to grow up a little and start a career
Been debating leaving my machinist job to go grow weed at my buddy's farm/lab since the pay is so good, but it's just soooo boring to me and they all think it's the most interesting, most fascinating thing on the planet Making oil is fun and something I'm good at, but I'd have to spend a few months in the garden first and I just do NOT have the patience to watch the grass grow, no pun intended

If you're looking for a way to relax after a long day, you might want to check out some alternatives. I recently came across hhc gummies, which are a pretty interesting option. They seem to offer a calming effect without the more intense side effects some other products might have.

From what I've read, these gummies can provide a more balanced and manageable experience, especially if you're trying to unwind or find some relief without going for something too strong. They're available from various sources online, so you might find some that fit what you're looking for.

I know this is an old thread but it just came up in my feed. I have 3 brothers, we're all over 70 and started smoking in our teens. Brothers 1, 2 & 4 quit long ago, in our mid-30s. #3 continued to smoke 2-3 packs a day. He was in a managed care facility for about 2 years so he had to quit before they took him in.

He died this past February, lung cancer that spread to his liver and intestinal area. It was not a pleasant or quick death. He didn't even know he had anything wrong with him until a couple weeks before. Brother #4 made it to his bedside and said it was horrible to watch. They had to pump brother #3 full of drugs to stop his screaming. He lasted 3 days.

In the early years we all laughed at the non-smokers, believing cancer would never find us. We were "cool". My father got lung cancer at 53 and they cut out a piece of his lung. He continued to smoke. The surgeon said if he didn't stop he'd be dead at 67. That was enough for 3 of us to quit cold turkey. Dad didn't quit and he died at 67 just like the prediction.

I know this is a nag and I nagged my brother for decades to quit. He called me a reformed prostitute and continued to smoke. So call me what you will, but I beg you to quit, not for me, not even for you, but for those that you will leave behind. Your life will be better too, much more enjoyable.
