Rear ABS wire/harness failure error C1403

Hi,

I've searched and searched and researched but not a lot of there concerning rear abs issues.

My issue came up when swapping my rear end assembly out for a trd pro rear end. I disconnected everything and seal went well until I jumped ahead and attached a bracket to the new rear end which held the abs wire harness. Then without thinking I went to install the springs again. I was struggling to get the passenger side one in when I noticed those wires stretched to the max!

I quickly corrected the order l issue but I believe the damage was done. I got a code for the rear passenger side abs(C1403) . I checked the sensor and even replaced it with a spare I had. I attempted to check for continuity at the plug and got nothing.

When searching for this issue I cannot locate much. I could not find a part number. Every search resulted in a new front harness.

I ordered one from eBay. The part listed was Toyota 4Runner Lexus GX460 Genuine Rear ABS Skid Control Sensor Wire 89516-60300.

I'm hoping this will fix my issue. If not I'd like to get other troubleshooting out of the way to correct the issue right away.

Maybe this will be the start of a post that is possibly not covered. Any help is a appreciated.

Thanks!

Resurrecting an old thread here, but did this sensor wire end up being your fix?

I just had rear bearings and seals replaced and now have all the ABS and traction related lights either lit up or blinking. The guy at the shop seems to think it's a faulty magnetic strip in the bearing itself, but everything I'm reading makes me think it's possibly just the wire.
