FS: 4th gen 2008 V8 4WD Sport - Silver 112k miles - NJ - $19k obo

Selling my 2008 V8 Sport with 112k miles. Asking $19k obo, located in West Orange, NJ.

Overall comments:
OEM+ look and upgrades. Meticulously and lovingly maintained by an OCD car enthusiast (all records available), I’m the 2nd owner and had it since 2016. Frame is totally clean thanks to the annual fluid film underbody protection (must have for northeast vehicles). There is minor surface rust on the transfer case cover and original control arms (refer to pics).

Absolutely love this car and its legendary, velvety smooth V8 engine but I hardly drive it anymore since my wife bought a Hybrid RAV4 which we daily drive now. 4runner is taking up valuable space in my garage.

Totally bone stock mechanically, ready for lift and overland specials! Has the exhaust tick and deciding to sell before doing the Thorley headers.

Upgrades:

- Tacoma grill
- HID headlights with $2k worth of upgraded internals (refer to YouTube video for custom install: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYlOI2Z50vs&feature=youtu.be)
- LED DRL
- Diode Dynamics SS3 Max fog lights custom retrofitted
- Kenwood Apple CarPlay
- 360 degree cameras
- Upgraded speakers
- 12volt remote starter via phone app with GPS tracking
- TRD Pro wheels with Michelin Defender LTX rubber, approx 20k miles over 3 years (will share pics of ample tread depth)
- Upgraded PowerStop brakes with red painted calipers
- Winter tires mounted on steel rims

Maintenance

- Timing belt, water pump, power steering pump, all fluids flushed, spark plugs, radiator replaced in June 2022 @ 93k miles
- Synthetic oil used throughout my ownership, every 5k miles, all service records and Blackstone oil analysis reports available
- Undercarriage treated with fluid film before each winter, excellent condition, pics included
- new battery in 2023

Note: Carfax is not clean:
#1 - older tire exploded on the highway (drivers side rear). Wheel well, door trim pieces and rear bumper replaced through insurance
#2 - front end collision at slow speed in icy conditions (didn’t have my snow tires on unfortunately and car ahead unexpectedly braked very hard!). No airbags, no frame damage, engine untouched but front bumper, hood, headlights, radiator, power steering pump and intake manifold had to be replaced (even fenders and fog lamps were fine!). Detailed pics available to qualified buyers. All work done at Nash Park Autobody, one of the best in Northern NJ (official body shop for local Porsche and BMW dealers).

So, why did you have your cams removed?

I think it was because the camshaft and crankshaft seals were replaced as part of the timing belt/water pump service, everything on this list:
