Replacing 2004 Brake Booster assembly with a whole unit from a GS300?

has anyone swapped out the whole brake booster unit for one from a GS300? the local yard is saying they are interchangeable. the reservoir tank is a different shape and the plugs are in a little different location... just seeing if any has done this or tried and it didn't work.. thanks!!

Old thread. Pump and accumulator are the same. I used those parts from a 2003 GS300 to fix screeching pump in my 2003 Limited. My guess is master cylinder and ABS valve block are the same. Module will probably be different for car specific tuning. Definitely worth comparing the two assemblies as they are hard to find in junkyard 4Runners but plentiful in GS, at least around here.
