aftermarket rear bumper with no lift?
i recently placed an order for a rear bumper that should be about 135 lbs added on.. problem is i'm not lifted at all. should i wait until im lifted before installing the bumper?
i've read through the lift thread but no one really talks about this, i probably modded things out of order (should have gotten a lift before the bumper). |
Probably will sag quite a bit. Back when I did my rear bumper (eimkeith's) it's 115 pounds, sagged it. Then did the f150 tank mod and it was on the bump stops lol. Running ome 891's w/lc shocks now and it rides good. The springs just settled a bit to much for me.

Or, you could also try this: W73420 Whiteline Spring - pad bushing – Whiteline USA - 20mm Spring Pad This is designed for the front of the LC80 series springs and works with the rear of the 3rd Gen 4Runners. W73404 Whiteline Spring - pad bushing – Whiteline USA - 30mm Spring Pad Hope this helps. |

Get a body lift before committing to bumpers. Otherwise you turn a $150 mod into a $2000+ mod.
Biggest regret I have... next to not buying something solid axle :target: |
